The Two Minute Drill

Well here we are, the final post of the class. The final two minutes of the game. I honestly feel like I have dominated the game for the first 58 minutes. I feel like social media marketing is my calling. I feel like, for the first time in my life, that I am actually good at something that could be useful. This is a class that has really opened my eyes to another side of marketing.

My favorite platforms that we used were Blogger, Facebook and Twitter. The business that I have been running is a business that would really excel on those three platforms and it showed by the way I ran them. Facebook was a fun way for me to post the big stories going into each NFL week, along with better detailed links to my Blogger for my camps. I really enjoyed Twitter because I was able to post a little more often with side stories and advice tweets about fantasy football. Twitter gave me the chance to utilize the fantasy part of OMFFC. I think Blogger was the biggest form of fuel for this machine, though. It really let me post about my camps in great detail. I never knew how much fun blogging would be.

There were a few things that I thought were fun but wish we would have done more of. More specifically, podcasts and Vine. Those were two things that I thought we were going to use a lot more, but we didn't. Podcasts might be something that I continue to do even after this class is over. I just love football and fantasy football so much that there is aways something for me to talk. Let me know if you would be interested in hearing more from me in the form of podcasts! Thank you all for joining me in this crazy game.

The Big Announcement!

We are having so much success at OMFFC, we are proud to announce that we will be having a new mobile app released for both Android and Apple devices! The app is apart of our December customer appreciation. We have been so overwhelmed by how this company has absolutely taken off. We thank every single one of you for the support and participation in our camps. This app is our way of showing our thanks to you.

About the App and Release Date:
This app was something that was just brought up in discussion around the office. Our team picked the idea up and ran with it. We, personally, think it'll be a touchdown! The app will bring you a few different things that'll make your OMFFC experience even better.

What it'll look like!
To start, it'll have a calendar that'll give you all of the dates of our upcoming events and full nil schedule. It'll have an interactive Fantasy Lounge which will allow you to chat with other members about your fantasy football team. The final feature will be a place for you to view all of our blog posts. You'll be able to comment and interact with all the members on there.

Our release date is scheduled for December 1st of this year. We like to think of it as an early Christmas to all of our members. Thank you all for your outstanding support.

In the Work!
We are currently working on having an update for this app within the month of it's release date that will give you features NFL's NFL Mobile app. It'll give our app highlights from the games, fantasy leaders, and much more. We are in talks with the NFL right now. Please stay tuned.

Fear the Beard!

#99 Brett Keisel
Source
When Brett Keisel was in the league he was known for his great defensive play but also for the mammoth beard that he would grow every season. He didn't grow the beard to look cool, even though it looked awesome. He didn't grow it to look scary, even though it looked terrifying. He does it for charity. He starts the beard at the beginning of the football season and has his annual "Shear Da Beard"event where fans and teammates get to scissor off his whole beard.

Now that November is here, everybody has the chance to do what Keisel does. No-Shave November is a web-based, non-profit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education. Be a part of the movement and head to https://www.no-shave.org for more information. Join Brett Keisel and the whole OMFFC crew this November and let it grow!

Charles Wants YOU to be A part of History!

On November 7th, Charles Woodson will be the host of one of the most exciting camps of the year! The former Green Bay Packer, current Oakland Raider, and future hall of famer will come back to Green Bay to host this camp. As a Super Bowl champion, Heisman Trophy winner, and 8x Pro Bowlwer, Charles Woodson knows what it takes to be a winner. He will be joined by current teammates Derek Carr and Amari Cooper along with former teammate Clay Matthews. This will be a camp that pushes our members to their limits. The four guys will be collaborating to make a camp that will help both offensive and defensive skilled players.

Why is this such an exciting camp? There are only 40 spots available and there will be a contest drawing this Wednesday. The drawing will be from the 40 members that sign up and the winner will receive two tickets to one of the more historic rivalries in the NFL. A rivalry that Woodson was apart of many times. Packers vs Bears on Thanksgiving night. A night that will feature the retirement of the number four for Green Bay's legendary quarterback, Brett Favre.  It will be the 192nd meeting between the two franchises. Chicago leads the series 93-92-6.

Sign up for this great camp/contest by Tuesday night. The winner will be announced on our Vine channel. Be sure to follow us on Vine, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SoundCloud, and YouTube to stay connected. We have a new commercial that has been posted on our YouTube. Good luck to all that join this amazing opportunity.

Unmasking Another Scary Camp!

#26 Walter Thurmond Source
As the calendar turns to the final week of October, the NFL season reaches its midway point. Along with the scary thought of the season being half over, Halloween will put a terrifying exclamation to the end of the month. On the Marc Fantasy Football Camp wants to do something for this special occasion. On Saturday, October 31st, OMFFC will be hosting its largest football camp of the year. 200 members will join a few NFL stars at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles for this event.

#27 Malcolm Jenkins Source
The hosts of this event will include the four starters of the Philadelphia Eagles secondary and a former Eagle that left his mark with the franchise. Byron Maxwell, Malcolm Jenkins, Walter Thurmond III, and Nolan Carroll II will be joined by Philadelphia legend Sheldon Brown. Sheldon Brown will be the leader of the camp just as he was the leader of the Eagles when he played. Brown would come out of the tunnel wearing a hockey mask that would represent the haunting that the Eagles defense was going to bring. Every member that shows up with their own personal mask will get 31% off of this camp!

Be sure to reserve your place for next weeks camp. Get ahold of us on Facebook to save your spot, this is an opportunity that you will not want to miss. October 31st, 12:00 pm EST.

The M's to Success

Being successful isn't a trait that you are born with. It isn't something that you learn in school. It isn't ever granted or guaranteed and it sure isn't easy. Success is earned. I created a list of words that can help you reach your success. Mentality. Motivation. Merit. Or as I like to call them, "The Three M's". There is, of course, a much deeper meaning behind them all.

Mentality
This is the start to being successful. If you don't mentally put yourself in a position to be successful, you won't. Believing in yourself is what success boils down too. Another aspect of  mentality how you can mentally handle negative situations. If you can pick yourself up when you're down, you become stronger and build confidence in yourself. Success is a mind game.

Motivation
Author: Anonymous. Source
This is what drives you to your final destination. This is the fire or the burning passion that keeps you from giving up or quitting. It's what can pick you up when you are at your lowest. If there is no motive to reach your end result, then you will never reach your end result.

Merit
This is doing everything at a high-level. Every step that is needed to get to your success needs to be done with excellence. Give it 110%, 100% of the time with no regrets. In the end, your  hard-earned success will feel more rewarding.

This list can be used to help you stay on the track to success. On the Marc Fantasy Football Camp would like to thank every single one of our members for helping us reach our success here. If it wasn't for any of you, we wouldn't be successful. Here is a poem that we have stuck to, along with The Three M's, that has kept us pushing forward to be more successful than yesterday.

Beau Sacks Cancer

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Beau Allen was only 12 years old when he found out his mother had breast cancer. The former Wisconsin Badger, and Mankato, MN native, is now 23 years old and his mother has been cancer free for 10 years. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, it really hits home for Allen. He shows his support by wearing a pink ribbon in his hair on October game days.

On October 17th, you can show your support by joining Beau and the whole On the Marc Fantasy Football Camp staff as we host another camp. The camp will be held at the campus of UW-Madison. For this event, Beau will be donating $15,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Along with this initial donation, he will donate $1,000 for every OMFFC member that is wearing pink. Be sure to sign up today.
